Physical evolution

Clark has a new album and live show in 2017, which we will have the luxury of enjoying in full, on the SonarHall stage. The British producer, one of Warp's mainstays in recent times, has earned worldwide recognition for his work and has further polished his piercing/cutting and mutant style. On this occasion, Clark will touch down with a new album (that according to his label is as equally scintillating as its predecessor) and a stage show that includes powerful images and the presence of two dancers, Kiani Del Valle And Melanie Lane. Chris Clark's current prestige is the result of many years of work in the shadows, quietly, discreetly, progressing his gilt edged electronica over seven albums, a dozen EPs and a handful of excellent remixes, as well as a soundtrack for the British series "The Last Panthers". On his first albums in the early 2000s he experimented with IDM, which allowed him to widen his scope and vision, incorporating a diverse range of influences from abrasive techno to Brazilian melodies, Nordic folk, computerized noises and polyrhythmic breakcore, creating a powerful, cohesive, complex and physical sound (especially evident on his most recent LP, "Clark", 2014).
