SonarCashless

What you need to know
  • The only way to pay at Sónar is using the SonarCashless wristband. 
  • Use of the SonarCashless wristband entails accepting the following terms and condition, which are part of General conditions of sale for tickets and access
  • Take care of your SonarCashless wristband - it contains money and Sónar is not responsible for its loss or misplacement.

Top-up your wristband online before the festival
What you need to know
  • Top-up your Sónar 2022 wristband now. Before the festival, the top-up portal will open on 03/06 at 15pm and end on 16/06 at 11am (all times CET).
  • Remember that once the festival starts, top-up will only be available at SonarCashless points, so we recommend that you top up now to avoid queuing at the festival.
  • Once you arrive at the festival and complete your check-in your wristband will be automatically loaded with the amount you have topped up.

How to top-up in advance if you bought your ticket via DICE
  • Create a profile here using the same email associated with your DICE account.
  • Once you can see your ticket(s), select one of them and click on the TOPUP button.
  • Select the amount that you wish to add, proceed to payment and complete the transaction. 
  • You’ll receive an email confirming your purchase. On arrival at the festival your wristband will be automatically loaded with the amount you have topped up.

My ticket(s) aren’t appearing in the portal
  • Check that you have used the same email associated with your DICE account to access the portal.
  • If someone else has bought your ticket(s) for you, ask them to transfer them to your DICE account. If you have purchased tickets for other people, you need to send them to them before they can top-up.
  • Find out more about how to transfer tickets here.
  • If you've transferred or if someone has transferred you a ticket via the DICE app, you need to wait 30 minutes in order to top-up your wristband online.
 
How to top-up in advance if you bought your ticket via StubHub
  • Create a profile here using an email account.
  • Enter the barcode number in the bottom search bar (Top-up a barcode) and click on the TOPUP button.
  • Select the amount that you wish to add, proceed to payment and complete the transaction.
  • You’ll receive an email confirming your purchase. On arrival at the festival your wristband will be automatically loaded with the amount you have topped up.

Important: if you retained your ticket from 2020, the credit that you have been offered will be loaded onto your wristband when you check in at the festival venue.

Once inside the festival
  • You can use both cash and your card.
  • You can top up in multiples of 5€.
  • Top up your wristband as many times as you need at any SonarCashless point (see maps bellow).
  • You can also check your balance at any SonarCashless point or vendor.
  • Your SonarCashless wristband is personal and non-transferrable. Sónar reserves the right to decline wristbands that have been cut, pulled off or otherwise visibly manipulated.
  • IMPORTANT: inside the festival you can only top up your wristband at SonarCashless points.
 
Use your wristband for all purchases inside the festival (both in Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night)

Claim back any unused cash left on your wristband online after the festival 
  • You must keep your wristband in order to use the online refund form
  • You can only reclaim your money using the online form
  • All refund requests must be received between 4pm (CET) on Tuesday 21st June and 11.59pm on Thursday 30th June. From Tuesday 21st June, there'll be a link on this page explaining how to proceed
  • You will receive a bank transfer with your refund five days after we receive your request 
  • The transaction fee associated with each refund is 1,20€
  • Refund requests that are received outside of the period listed above will not be processed nor responded to 

SonarCashless - Refund

Claim back any unused cash left on your wristband online after the festival.
The refund period begins on Wednesday 22nd June at 16:00h (CEST) and ends on Friday 1st July at 23:59h (CEST):
  • Click the "Cashout Button"
  • Login or Sign Up using your email address
  • Fill in your UID (the 14-digit number on the back of your wristband) 
  • Enter in your bank details
  • Payments will take up to 7 days to reflect
  • The transaction fee associated with each refund is 1,20€
  • Refund requests that are received outside of the period listed above will not be processed nor responded to

Upon using the SonarCashless wristband, the individual implicitly accepts the terms and conditions that form part of the General Conditions of Sale and Access to Sónar Festival.
