In 2016 Red Bull Music Academy and Sónar celebrate the 12th consecutive year of collaboration, bringing together eclectic talent from around the world to present a stage that both reflects Sónar’s ethos of exploration and RBMA’s continued commitment to celebrating music, its culture, and the transformative minds behind it.

 

The Academy has been bringing together up-and-coming musicians with the pioneers who paved the way since 1998, both at the flagship Academy, touching down in different cities each year, and the extensive series of workshops and events hosted year-round all over the world. Both Sónar and Red Bull Music Academy have a passion for fostering creativity in music, and this year’s lineup for the SonarDôme reflects the vast talent of RBMA alumni and friends, including participants from the 2015 Red Bull Music Academy in Paris and more.
