Yerai Cortés has been re-writing the history of flamenco: now the young guitarist and C. Tangana and Judeline collaborator will bring his six-string revolution to Sónar 2024. ‘Guitarra Coral’ extends flamenco beyond the guitar, with Yerai accompanied by a six-woman choir of ‘palmeras’ who’ll add their voices, handclaps and dancing to this collective ritual. A flamenco concert that blurs conceptions of the classical, the traditional and the avant-garde.
