Resident Advisor's Exchange is a series of conversations with the artists, labels and promoters that are shaping the electronic music landscape. Composed of longform podcast interviews, they give listeners the chance to hear some of electronic music's most compelling personalities offering their take on their lives and their work.
RA's Live Exchange series has already taken place at a number of events around the world, so it seems only natural that the next stop would be one of the biggest: Sonar. At this year's festival, RA and Sonar will partner together to present a series of in-depth one-on-one conversations with two of the participating acts: Simian Mobile Disco & New Order. Interviewed by RA editor Todd L. Burns.
MACBA Auditorium
Friday 15th from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm: Simian Mobile Disco
Saturday 16th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm: New Order.
Just for accredited. Limited capacity

The prestigious Canadian dj will explain the concept and workings behind his Twitter Dj project, which he will be putting into practice a few hours before at his performace at Sónar by night, on Friday 15th of June.
Developed on Hawtin's M_Nus label by engineer Bryan McDade, and in collaboration with Native Instruments, Twitter DJ is a new tool that will bring the DJ closer to his audience by publishing the tracks being played by the artist on the social network in real time
A strong emotional tool, but also industrial: in addition to the immediacy and value information for fans and followers, it also opens the question of how the recording of that material can be helpful in terms of copyright.
Moderator: Isra García (New Media & Online Marketing Advisor, pioneer on Human Business Interactions and author of Human Media)
Auditori MACBA
Saturday 16th - from 3pm until 4pm
Only for accreditation holders
