Digital Music 2.0.

SonarPro, in collaboration with the Business Development Service of the ICEC, the Institute for Cultural Businesses, presents a new session of Digital Music 2.0., with debates and lectures with leading figures from the world of music in Spain and internationally. In 2012, Digital Music focuses its programme on a single day with two keynote speakers:

    Musicians Go to the Cinema

    “Don’t Think” is the first film featuring the prestigious British duo The Chemical Brothers, directed by film-maker and video artist Adam Smith. In this presentation, there will be discussion, among other matters, of the reasons that lead a group to create its own film and the transfer between the two increasingly connected disciplines: music and film.
    With Joanna Puglisi (Senior Director of Music for Film & Television, Universal), Adam Smith (director of the documentary “Don’t Think” about the Chemical Brothers) and Roger Roca (curator of the IN-EDIT festival and director of the TV programme Sputnik).

    Unexpected Connections: Music and Football

    Marcos Cuevas (CEO of Layers) interviews Dídac Lee, renowned entrepreneur, creator of several international companies in the sector of new technologies and currently director of the Department of New Technologies of FC Barcelona. Lee will be discussing the features and innovations that the world of football and its marketing can bring to the music industry.

The 'Make, Play, Share: The future of Musictech' panel presents a discussion forum on the current trends and future possibilities for research in the field of music technology on the Internet.
